What I built
An interactive process taxonomy that maps the entire operational landscape of a nonprofit — from Development & Fundraising to Finance, Grants, HR, and Marketing. Each node in the tree is clickable and drills down to L1 domains, L2 process clusters, and L3 process families, each with purpose, actors, systems, inputs, outputs, and maturity guidance.
Why I built it
As a nonprofit technology consultant, I was constantly onboarding new colleagues who had zero frame of reference for how nonprofits actually operate. Every “where do I start?” question cost billable hours. This tool gives a new consultant instant orientation — spend 10 minutes clicking around and you understand the operational landscape better than a 2-hour briefing from me. It opens the door to a broader pool of consultants who can help nonprofits do more with fewer resources.
