I'm Sree Puppala — a non-developer who builds real AI tools for my own life.

By day, I help nonprofits operationalize technology. By evening, I experiment with AI tools to solve problems I actually have: tracking grocery prices, researching watch auctions, visualizing country music data, organizing my reading list.

What This Site Is

This is where I document the builds and the thinking behind them. Two content types:

• Essays — opinion, commentary, cultural analysis about AI, work, and building things
• Build Logs — project walkthroughs with screenshots, data, and honest assessments of what worked

The voice is direct, self-aware, and specific. I'm not trying to teach you to code. I'm showing what happens when someone who can't code uses AI tools with intention and domain knowledge.

The Name

This started as thisthing.me — a deliberately low-commitment name for a blog I wasn't sure I'd keep writing. The name stuck because it captured the energy: this thing I'm building, this thing I'm exploring, this thing I can't quite name yet.

sree.build is the next iteration. Same voice, better infrastructure, clearer intent.
